So i decided that now would be a good time to take a look at the soon to be released Windows 8.
You can download a preview of the op sys from Microsoft and load it up. This will last until January 2013 I believe.
Be careful if you do this on your own computer though as it will wipe everything and there is no way to revert back to your old computer...you will have to reinstall.
Ok, so i set up my test computer, a fairly standard HP Compaq desktop Pc. 
Processor is about 2.4gig and it has about 2 gig ram. Onboard graphics,lan etc. nothing spectacular.

There is a particularly nasty virus circulating currently that is spreading itself through email.

Typically users that have been infected have received the infection via an email that looks as though it has come from somebody they know (a legitimate email source), however this is not the case and the email address had been (spoofed). this leads the user to open the email which contains a link which they are encouraged to click on. This link has taken the form of "click on this link....there is a funny picture of you here"
